#1. Conklin "4 NL" in black chased hard rubber. I think this one was certainly made later than 1913 and before 1920. It has the second version of the pocket clip that they used. The clip has a bend and some brassing on top and on the edges of the bend. The cap band and crescent do not have any brassing. The right tine of the nib has a slight bit of a wrinkle, but the tip halves are perfectly aligned. The barrel imprints and chasing are very good, but the cap may have some chasing wear towards the top. The hard rubber has mild discoloration. The nib is a smooth writing Flexible (fat) Fine 14K and writes dark, wet lines. It will make a 2 millimeter line when pressure is applied. Capped the pen measures 5 7/16 inches or 13.8 cm.
Price $195.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
circa 1929 Parker Duofold Junior Streamline in Jade Green. The color of the cap and barrel are perfect and well matched. The clip has brassing across the ball. The nib is a smooth wet writing fat Fine or Medium 14K. *NOTE* it does not presently have an ink sac, I left it off to preserve the color. I can install a real silicone ink sac, if you request it. I dipped the nib to test it. Capped the pen measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.4 cm. How would I grade the pen? You would likely have a hard time finding another example with this nice of color.
~SOLD~ $435.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
circa 1929 Parker Duofold Junior Streamline pen and pencil set in Mandarin Yellow. The color in the pen and pencil are not quite perfect, they are very good. The color in the pen is a bit better than the pencil, as the pencil seems to be slightly darker, but I would attribute that to pencil coming from a different plastic batch than the pen. The pen has brassing across the clip ball. The pen's barrel imprint is very good and deep where you normally expect it. The pencil has some brassing on the top of the clip and across the ball and there is some brassing on its top band. The pencil mechanism is working well. The nib is a smooth Fine 14K with nice ink flow. I have installed a real silicone ink sac to preserve the color. Capped the pen measures 4 3/4 inches or 12.1 cm.
~SOLD~ $375.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
circa 1934 Sheaffer's Balance oversize fountain pen in Jade Green. There is no brassing on the trim. There is a color difference between the cap and barrel, although the color is perfect on both of the parts. The nib is a smooth writing Extra Fine Lifetime 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 5/8 inches or 14.3 cm. The condition is Excellent.
~SOLD~ $275.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
circa 1927 Wahl in Jade Green. I do not know the model designation for this one. This is a very unusual fountain pen and fairly scarce. In the photos notice the black band under the black cap end. Also, take note of the unusually long section and the narrow and long nib. The plastic has some discoloration. It is a slender pen, which I believe was intended for use by secretaries, stenographers and accountants. The nib is a smooth moderately flexible Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 5 3/8 inches or 13.1 cm.
~SOLD~ $175.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.
6. circa 1928 Parker Duofold Junior "Deluxe" in Moderne Black and Pearl. The barrel is ambered and the cap has some ambering. The clip has brassing across the ball. The barrel imprint is very deep. The cap end and blind cap have discoloration. The nib is a smooth wet writing Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 4 1/2 inches or 11.5 cm.
